I am Niki.
I am 21 and I was born on July 26. I lived the first 14 years of my life in New Jersey. From ages 14-18 I lived in Sedona, AZ, and at age 18 I moved to Phoenix, AZ and I love it. I love singing and I have sung in choirs since I was 6 years old and continue to do so today. I also find gardening, cooking and video-editing to be fun hobbies. I am also a foreign car enthusiast and working on modifying my own car. I have an associates degree in criminal justice. I currently work at a Lexus dealership as a saleswoman in the parts department.
I am a really nice person, which can sometimes be a weakness seeing how people either take it the wrong way or use it to their advantage, and also I can have a hard time asserting myself. I am also very understanding, and I am a good listener and advice-giver. People have my trust from the beginning, it's only when they do something to make me stop believing them that I lose trust. I tend to be very optimistic, and don't mesh well with judging people, because you should never truly judge someone if you haven't been in their shoes.
My posts on Deviant Art are my nature/scenery photos I take in every place I find pretty, exotic or simply unusual. Photography is a wonderful way of keeping memories of certain events and retaining that beauty.

Sometimes the time you realize how much you love someone is when you no longer have them. You took me by surprise. Just hours earlier, I thought things were better than ever. Why did I let myself get attached? By now I should know better. Maybe if you knew how I feel, or maybe if you saw how hurt I really am, you would realize how much i would do for you...all I can do is wait for the day you are ready. I am not going anywhere.

My motto has always been never to become too attached to someone you aren't sure about. Unfortunately, that doesn't make it an easy rule to follow. Sometimes even when you don't have somebody, you can become attached to the idea of that person. Giving your all to someone leaves you in a vulnerable state. Although it is a sign of true trust and affection, you are giving someone the power to hurt you, but trusting them not to. From what I've learned, people disappear. The only one you can truly rely on is yourself, because there is no way to get inside anybody else's thoughts, and it is easy to fall for pretty words. People's minds change, and

I just found the pic online, I would so eat one haha. I imagined each part of the orange having a different taste depending on the color lol
